Fifteen answers covering the things the Castonex desk gets asked every week — setup, devices, connection requirements, what is included and how refunds work.

Install IBO Player on your smart TV, Android box, streaming stick, phone, tablet or computer, then activate your playlist through the IBO Player portal using the credentials we send you on WhatsApp. The channel list and seven-day guide load automatically. Our setup guide covers every device screen by screen.
Nothing on your end. Our activation desk verifies the payment, builds your subscription line and emails your credentials — usually within 15 to 30 minutes. If you supplied a WhatsApp number we confirm there as well. Check the promotions and junk folders if the clock passes half an hour.
Yes. The service is delivered over the open internet, so any stable connection anywhere in the world pulls the same line-up. Australians living or travelling abroad use it to keep their home channels, and the service works equally well in reverse.
Sixteen megabits per second is the practical floor for a steady HD picture, and 25 Mbps or better is comfortable for 4K. Line stability matters more than headline speed — a consistent connection produces a cleaner picture during matches than a fast but erratic one.
One device streams per subscription. You can move that subscription between devices, but only one screen plays at a time. Households wanting two simultaneous screens take a second subscription.
IBO Player, and only IBO Player. Supporting one application properly means our troubleshooting instructions actually match what you see on screen, and it runs on the non-Android smart TVs that most alternatives ignore.
No. Castonex reaches your screen over your existing internet connection. There is no dish, no cabling, no antenna alignment, no installer visit and no set-top box to rent.
Most feeds run in 4K, UHD or Full HD, with HD and SD variants available where a broadcaster only transmits at those resolutions. Quality of service is managed at the network layer with packet prioritisation and delay control across a 20 Gbps fleet holding 99.9% measured uptime.
Yes, including the regional metro splits. Seven, Nine, Ten, ABC and SBS are carried for Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Hobart, Canberra, Darwin and Sydney, along with their multichannels — 7TWO, 7mate, 7flix, 9Gem, 9Go!, 9Life, 9Rush, 10 Bold, 10 Peach, 10 Shake, ABC ME, ABC Kids, SBS Viceland, SBS Food and NITV.
No. Combat-sport cards and one-off event broadcasts are included in the standard subscription. There is no second checkout on fight night and no separate sports package.
For as long as you want it. Renew at any point, extend early, or simply stop — there is no lock-in contract and nothing renews automatically. Pricing is fixed at the tier you select.
Yes. Message the support desk and we will credit any unused portion of your current term against a longer plan. Most people who start on the intro month move to six or twelve months once a season begins.
Every plan carries a seven-day money-back window. Where your connection cannot be made to carry the streams during that first week, and our technicians exhaust the fixes, your payment comes back to you. The exact conditions, including outage credits and duplicate charges, are published in full on our refund policy.
Through the contact page or by WhatsApp. The desk is staffed every day of the week across AEST and AEDT. Tell us the device you are using and what the screen is showing, and most issues are settled in one exchange.
Yes. Castonex runs a tiered reseller programme with credit-based pricing, a panel for issuing and managing lines, and margin that improves with volume. Details and the application form are on the reseller page.

Question not covered here?
The desk replies every day of the week. Ask before you order — we would rather set the right expectation than take an order that will not suit you.
