Home/DMCA Notice

Last updated: 1 January 2026

Castonex respects the intellectual property rights of content creators and rights holders. We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and with the equivalent provisions of the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth) applicable in Australia. This policy explains our procedures for addressing copyright infringement claims.

1. Our content licensing position

Castonex operates as a reseller of IPTV subscription access. We do not host, store or originate the content delivered through the Service. All channels and on-demand content are sourced from third-party content providers and distributors, and we are committed to ensuring our operations respect applicable copyright law. Our broader legal position is described on the about page.

2. Reporting copyright infringement

If you are a copyright owner or an authorised agent and believe that content accessible through https://castonex.com infringes your copyright, you may submit a written takedown notice to our designated agent.

Your notice must include all of the following

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work — a description of the work you claim has been infringed. Where multiple works are covered, a representative list is acceptable.
  2. Identification of the infringing material — the specific URLs or sufficient information to allow us to locate the allegedly infringing content.
  3. Your contact information — full name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
  4. Good faith statement — a statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
  5. Accuracy statement — a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
  6. Signature — your physical or electronic signature.

Submit your notice to: [email protected]
Subject line: DMCA Takedown Notice — castonex.com

We acknowledge valid notices within five business days and take appropriate action, which may include disabling access to the material in question and notifying the relevant content provider.

3. Counter-notification

If you believe content was removed or disabled as the result of a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a written counter-notification to [email protected].

Your counter-notice must include

  1. Identification of the removed content — a description and the URLs of the material, together with its location before removal.
  2. Statement under penalty of perjury — that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as the result of a mistake or misidentification.
  3. Your contact information — full name, address, telephone number and email address.
  4. Consent to jurisdiction — a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts of Australia and will accept service of process from the party who submitted the original notice.
  5. Signature — your physical or electronic signature.

On receipt of a valid counter-notification we forward it to the original complainant. If the complainant does not commence a court action within 10 to 14 business days, we may restore access at our discretion.

4. Repeat infringer policy

  • Accounts that are the subject of multiple valid copyright infringement notices are reviewed.
  • Castonex reserves the right to terminate subscriptions belonging to users determined to be repeat infringers.
  • Termination for repeat infringement does not entitle the user to a refund under our refund policy.

5. Misuse of the takedown process

Filing a false takedown notice is a serious matter. Under the DMCA (17 U.S.C. § 512(f)) and equivalent Australian provisions, a person who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages, including costs and legal fees.
